Avalon Park Tavares

Avalon Park Tavares (APT) is located approximately a 45 minute drive north-west of Orlando, directly on Lake Hermosa and in close proximity to the Advent Health Waterman hospital. Avalon Park Tavares will include 1,100 residential units on approximately 627,000 m². Due to its location, the project has a strong focus on health factors along with wellness and will include a variety of walking and biking trails, dog parks, pools and green spaces.

This project in northern Orlando continued to be a stable pillar of our portfolio last year. The development of 314 lots has been completed. They are now being acquired in stages by our partners and developed with single-family homes. Once these units are completed, we will focus on the implementation of the downtown area. This is expected to include a commercial section and townhomes.

Pinecrest Academy Charter School, operated by Academica, opened its doors in 2021, with a new expansion building completed in 2024. Now operating at full capacity, the school serves 1,150 students. Meanwhile, preliminary design work has begun on the future APT Village Center.
